CBD is a cannabinoid, i.e. a component, a molecule present in the hemp plant Sativa. This component can be extracted from the plant and isolated from the rest of the molecules that make it up.

Hemp can have several properties and each cannabinoid has its own properties. By isolating the cannabinoids separately, we can select the properties separately as well.

It is this specific process of isolating CBD that interests us. Specifically, THC (the plant molecule with the ‘high’ effects) is excluded here.
Strictly speaking, CBD has no psychotropic or intoxicating effect. It does not make you “high” at all.

CBD is mainly extracted from hemp. It can then be isolated or not from other cannabinoids.
There are several types of extraction, the type of extraction will have an impact on the quality of CBD. Supercritical CO2 extraction is the most common and the most qualitative.

Labelling, extraction methods and laboratory tests are essential quality criteria for us.

This is why we carry out rigorous tests for each batch. A first quality test will be carried out by an independent laboratory, after which we will obtain a first certificate of analysis on the different cannabinoid contents. Subsequently we will carry out a 3-part test by a second independent laboratory. The purpose of this test is to validate the quality, the cannabinoid content and to confirm the results of the previous tests. Our laboratory tests can be consulted in the description of each product.

CBD is not a psychotropic substance and does not create any addiction.
CBD is not on the list of psychotropic or dangerous products of the
United Nations Convention of 1961 and 2020.

Strictly speaking, CBD has no psychotropic or intoxicating effect, so it does not give you a high. Unlike THC, the only component of hemp that has this effect.
